In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic boat ride on the Mekong River from Sop Ruak aboard a traditional long tail boat, offering views of all three countries and a glimpse into riverside village life.
Then continue to the Choui Fong Tea Plantation, located in Chiang Rai’s rolling hills. Walk among the tea rows, learn about tea cultivation, and enjoy tasting a variety of local teas.

Renowned for its exceptional artistry and highly elaborate architecture, the assembly hall of Wat Rong Khun is unlike any other temple, featuring both sculpted gables and tooth-shaped roof ridges. The hall is built almost entirely in pure white, symbolizing the Buddha’s purity. The sparkling mirror glass details represent the wisdom of the Enlightened One shining upon the earth and the universe.
